ONV Literary Award (List of Winners 2017-2019)

ONV Literary Prize or ONV Literary Award is the annual literary award instituted in the memory of Malayalam Poet and lyricist ONV Kurup. The award is given for overall contribution to the Malayalam literature. It consists of a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh, a citation and a plaque.

Sugathakumari was the first person and woman to win this prestigious award while Akkitham Achuthan Namboothiri is the latest person to win the award.

In addition to the ONV Literary Award, the ONV Kurup Foundation also awards ONV Yuva Sahitya Award to young and emerging Malayalam writers for their outstanding works. The ONV Yuva Sahitya Award carries a cash prize of 50000, a citation and a plaque.
