Karnataka Ratna (Highest Civilian Award of Karnataka)

Karnataka Ratna is the highest civilian state honour of Karnataka. It is given to a person for his outstanding contribution in his field. It was instituded in 1992 by the Government of Karnataka. There have been a total of nine recepients of this award.

The award comes with a Gold medal, a citation, a memento, and a shawl.
